In all reality, many are predicting that it will release next year but it cannot really be confirmed because the game could be easily ready now and be up for release this month. I don't know how many people are working on the game but I'd take a guess and say its at most 30 people, the rest being marketing staff as well as any others in the publishing space. Red Barrels only has 40 employees and they are both the developer and publisher for Outlast Trials.
